The present general terms and conditions of sale regulates the supply and the sale of the Monterosa Zelandi’s goods via e-commerce website: and all the correlated domains, by users defined as Consumers.

The purchasing of the Goods through the website foresees the parties being Monterosa Zelandi Srl as the seller, and the party that proceeds with the purchase of one or more products as the Consumer.

Any Consumer’s communication that is connected and/or correlated with the purchase of the Goods including possible notifications, claims, requests regarding the purchase and/or delivery of the Goods, exercising the right of withdrawal, etc., should be sent to the Seller to the following e-mail address: or by fax to the number +39 0321 540  919.

Each purchase is regulated by the general terms and conditions of sale in the version that will be published on the website during the transmission of the order by the Consumer.


The Agreement (as defined: a distance agreement in compliance with the Art. 50 and subsequent articles of Legislative Decree of 6 September 2005, no. 206 “Consumer Code”) signed between Monterosa Zelandi Srl and the Customer, shall be concluded upon acceptance, by Monterosa Zelandi Srl, of a purchase proposal issued by the Customer via Internet, on the website

By placing an order, the Customer declares:

1) to be a consumer in accordance with the Art.3 of the Consumer Code

2) to be of legal age

3) that the data supplied by the same for the implementation of the Agreement are true and correct

4)  to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to accept entirely the general conditions of sale and payment indicated in the purchase procedure. In this regard, in accordance with the remote sales law, the Customer should save the electronic copy of the present Agreement or to print it.

The Customer undertakes to verify the correctness of the data entered according to the procedure described in this document and to communicate immediately any corrections.


The non-acceptance, even partially, of the order by Monterosa Zelandi Srl, will be timely notified to the e-mail provided by the Customer and the Customer is not entitled to compensation for damages or indemnity as well as any contractual or extra contractual responsibility for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or things.


The Customer is only ensured on the purchase of the goods on the electronic catalogue of Monterosa Zelandi Srl at the moment of placing the order and visible online at (URL):

Moreover, it is specified that the images related to the descriptive card of the product in some cases may not be fully representative of its characteristics and may differ in some details. All purchase information (terms, description, purchase guide, etc. …) is to be considered as a simple generic information material.


All our prices are always shown with VAT included. If any changes are made in the VAT rates and other indirect taxes, equivalent variations will be applied to the prices. The transport costs, being a flat rate payment, are also liable to VAT. The prices indicated on the catalogue are those that the Customer should actually pay with the addition of shipment costs, directly indicated in the purchase order.


The Agreement is concluded by communicating to the Customer (who generates a purchase offer, providing all the necessary information for the procedure of the registration of the proper name, of the purchase order and of the chosen payment method) the acceptance of the offer. The purchase agreement is considered to be concluded at the moment of the final payment by the Customer.


In case of non-acceptance of the order for any reason, Monterosa Zelandi Srl ensures to notify the Customer by appropriate means. 


The website indicates the product availability and expected delivery times, however, such information should be considered purely indicative and not binding for the Seller.

In any case, Monterosa Zelandi gives to the Customer the option of reserving some products for which Monterosa Zelandi will communicate the delivery times (these may be longer than normal delivery time) and availability of the product by sending an e-mail or contacting the Customer by phone.

When the Customer completes the purchase order, he will receive an initial e-mail where Monterosa Zelandi Srl communicates the reception of the order indicating its number; in the following days Monterosa Zelandi sends another e-mail to the Customer communicating the acceptance of the order.

When the Customer receives the e-mail, he can check the correctness of data and of the purchased products, and if necessary, notify and/or ask for the information at or  the following fax number + 39 0321 540 919.

The Customer can check the status of the order in the Customer Area.


For each order made on the website, Monterosa Zelandi Srl issues invoice and sends it with the goods to the holder of the order, in compliance with Art. 14 of DPR 445/2000 and Legislative Decree 52/2004.  No changes can be made after the invoice issuance.

The customer can choose one of the following payment methods:

·        Credit Card

·        PayPal

·        Advance bank transfer

·        Payment on delivery


If the customer decides to pay by Credit Card, the payment should be made at the moment of forwarding order confirmation. The provider checks automatically during the order the functionality of the card and an e-mail confirmation of the transaction will be sent; the reference bank shall provide the payment authorisation inherent to the purchase amount.

Prices are liable to changes at any time, but changes will not affect Orders which have been already confirmed, following the above mentioned procedure, except the cases of VAT rate variation.

If the issuer of the payment card or the reference bank refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorise or validate the payment, in these circumstances, Monterosa Zelandi Srl will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery in respect of the Product(s) which have been ordered as a result.

In case of the absence of information which is necessary to complete the payment, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to cancel the order.

In case of order cancellation Monterosa Zelandi will request the transaction cancellation and release of the amount involved. The release times for certain types of cards  depend exclusively on the banking system and can be up to their natural expiry date (24 days from the date of authorisation). Once the transaction is cancelled, in no case shall Monterosa Zlenadi  Srl be deemed responsible for indirect or consequential damages, caused by delay in the failure to release the amount committed by the banking system.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to request the customer the additional information or the sending of copy or documents proving the ownership of the credit card used. In the absence of the requested documentation, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right not to accept the order.

At no time during the purchasing procedure Monterosa Zelandi Srl is able to know the information relative to the purchaser’s credit card, which is transmitted by a directly protected connection to the website of the card issuing company  which manages the transaction. No Monterosa Zelandi Srl computer file maintains such data. Under no circumstances Monterosa Zelandi Srl can be held responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards by third parties during the online payment procedure.


If the Customer chooses the payment via PayPal, the amount of the order is debited to the PayPal account at the time of receiving the order. In case of the order cancellation both by the Customer and in case of non-acceptance of Monterosa Zelandi Srl, the amount will be refunded to the customer’s PayPal account. In case of the order cancellation, the transaction cancellation will be requested and Monterosa Zelandi Srl assumes no responsibility for any indirect or consequential damages, caused by delay in the failure to release the amount committed by PayPal. For each transaction made via the PayPal account, the Customer will receive the PayPal confirmation.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to cancel and/or suspend the order if PayPal sends an e-mail showing errors and/or irregularities in the payment; in this case Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to require from the Customer further information and/or the sending of copies of documents proving the ownership of the credit card used. In the absence of the requested information, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right not to accept the order, except the cases when the Customer has the right to compensation for damages. At no time during the purchasing procedure Monterosa Zelandi Srl is able to know the information relative to the purchaser’s credit card or to the other methods which are chosen inside of the PayPal wallet. Under no circumstances Monterosa Zelandi Srl can be held responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards by third parties during the online payment procedure.


In case it is chosen advance bank transfer payment, the Customer will be provided with all the necessary instructions at the final phase of the Checkout. It is possible to reduce delivery times, anticipating by e-mail the bank receipt. The advance bank transfer payment method provides that, in any case and without exception, the order will be fulfilled after having received the bank transfer.

Orders will be automatically cancelled if they are not paid via bank transfer within 7 working days of the date the orders are placed.


For the payment on delivery the courier applies the supplement of € 3,50 (+VAT), that the Customer will find on the summery ship order list. The payment will be made to the courier. For the amount up to €200 it is only accepted the payment in cash; for a total amount of €200 or more it will be accepted the payment in cash or via circular check made payable to us and non-transferable.


Monterosa Zelandi Srl accepts orders with delivery within the national territory, the European Community and non-European countries.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl accepts the orders from the Customers within the limits of the requested quantities. Therefore, the delivery of the products stated on the purchase order sent by the Customer depends on the availability of the corresponding products. Monterosa Zelandi Srl undertakes to forward promptly to the Customer eventual unpredictable stock-outs due to demand excess or other reasons. In this case the timing of the delivery of requested goods will be stated or the customer will be able to opt for other products in the catalogue or require repayment of the amount.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl delivers goods by express courier to the address stated by the Customer with times variable from 1 to 3 working days within the whole national territory from the moment of purchasing order. Monterosa Zelandi cannot be held liable in case of delay in processing the order or delay in the delivery of the ordered goods, in case of non-delivery or defaults by the courier.

The related invoice will be sent to the Customer with the goods.

No changes can be made after the invoice issuance.

Delivery of the goods is intended “stock level”. The Customer must verify, on receipt of the goods, if the number of delivered boxes corresponds to the one indicated in the transport document, if the packaging is intact, and if the delivered product matches the order; possible damages to the packaging and/or the goods, or the non-correspondence of the number of items or of the indications, must be immediately notified, writing “reservation of control” (and specifying the cause of this reservation) on the delivery note, for example, “holed packaging”, “squashed packaging”, etc.) on the Courier’s proof of delivery. But if it doesn’t happen, once the delivery document is signed, no claim can be raised concerning the external appearance of the delivered products. Possible problems concerning the integrity, the correspondence or the completeness of the received goods, or any claim must be notified within 2 days from delivery under the arrangements specified in this notice.


Shipment by express courier

Within the national territory we deliver by TNT TRACO courier, while abroad, we rely on the DPD, TNT, SAIMA, DSV courier or Poste Italiane, according to the location.

Delivery is made by express courier. The delivery is not provided to the floor or office. Delivery is made in the following hours: from 9.00 till 13.00 and from 14.00 till 18.00, on weekdays only (no Saturday and Sunday)



Shipment rates for Italy

Once the order is completed, the system will automatically calculate the shipping charges based on the following table, which is valid for the whole Italy excluding the region of Calabria and the Islands and locations which are difficult to reach and where the system will calculate an additional payment, for example, in the weight range up to 3 kg it costs about € 5,30 more, i.e. an overall amount of € 12,67+VAT. However, the system will provide the estimated costs when the purchase order is completed.

Any eventual variation of price will be promptly provided to the customer before the shipment. For the shipments over 100 kg the cost will be communicated to the customer via e-mail.

Rates for international shipments intra-EU and outside EU

For the intra-Union orders the shipment costs will be automatically calculated at the final phase of checkout before the order confirmation. However, outside the European Union you can confirm the order before the payment and we will provide you with the consequent transport costs. If they are not considered satisfactory, you will have the option to cancel the order.


The costs of packaging will be automatically displayed in the shopping cart at the final phase of the order checkout, where present.

Packaging of glass and crystal

We did our best in order to make the shipments that contain glass and crystal objects more secure. According to the selected format, additional package costs can be applied.

The eventual additional package costs will be automatically displayed in the shopping cart at the final phase of the checkout.


In case the goods are rejected or denied, the transport charges and possible duties and sales taxes of both shipments (original and return) will be paid by the Customer. The amount  will be deducted from the refund of the goods.


In case of failed collection within 7 days of the material in storage at the courier’s warehouse because of the repeated inability to deliver to the address specified by the Customer at the time of purchase order, the ordered Goods will be turned back to the warehouse of Monterosa Zelandi Srl.


Pursuant to Art.64 Legislative Decree of 6 September 2005 no. 206, if the Customer is a Consumer (i.e. a natural person who buys goods for purposes not related to his/her professional activity, or while purchasing no reference to VAT number is indicated in the order form), he/she has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement for any reason, without need to give explanations and without any penalty, within 10 working days from receiving the goods, without prejudice to the paragraphs below:

a) the right applies to the product purchased by the Customer  in its entirety. It is not possible to exercise withdrawal only on a part of the purchased product.

b) pursuant to Art. 55 Legislative Decree of 6 September 2005 no. 206,  the right of withdrawal is also denied when the sale concerns made-to-measure or customised products or goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned or risk rapid deterioration or alteration.

c) the purchased product shall be returned whole, complete of all its parts and in its original packaging. To limit damage to the original package, should be avoided in all cases the attachment of labels and tape directly on the original product packaging. Moreover, we recommend to put it in a second box and apply on it the address of the recipient of withdrawal good.

d) pursuant to law, the shipment charges relative to the return of the good are at the expense of the Customer.

e) until the declaration of receipt in our warehouse, the shipment is under the Customer’s complete responsibility.

f) Monterosa Zelandi Srl is not responsible in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipment; should the goods be damaged during transport, Monterosa Zelandi Srl shall inform the Customer (within 5 working days of receipt of the goods in its own warehouse) to enable him/her to make a timely complaint against his/her chosen courier and to obtain reimbursement for the value of the goods. In this case, the product will remain at the Customer’s disposition and the withdrawal request will be cancelled.


To exercise this right, the Customer must send to Monterosa Zelandi Srl a communication via e-mail to the following address: or via fax +39 0321 540 919 within 10 working days from receipt of the goods.


Monterosa Zelandi Srl will refund the Customer the full amount paid, within 14 days from the return of the goods, where possible, by the same means of payment used by the Customer at the time of purchasing the Goods or by bank transfer.


The right of return is lost completely, for lack of the essential integrity of the good (the packaging and its contents).


All the products sold on our Website are covered by the Legal Warranty of conformity provided for in Articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code (“Legal Warranty”). The Legal Warranty is reserved to the Customer. The Seller is liable to the Customer for any  lack of conformity at the time of the delivery of the product. Such warranty is reserved for the private Consumer (a natural person whobuys goods for purposes not related to his/her professional activity, or while purchasing the goods no reference to VAT number is indicated in the order form). In case of lack of conformity, Monterosa Zelandi Srl provides, at its discretion, for the restoration of the item’s conformity via replacement, without charges for the Customer, with reduction of the price o with refund of the amount paid.

In cases where the application of safeguards providing for the replacement of the product, the product must be returned by the Customer in the same way as it is indicated in paragraph c) of RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.


The technical information presented on the website is a product of our experience as wicks’ manufactures. We reserve the right to modify/adjust the technical information of the listed products. For the products that we don’t produce, all changes will be made on the basis of verified information received from the producers, without any advance notice.
